Please Carry :  Mountain/adventure travel requires one to be adequately equipped with the right kind of personal gear. Since one is travelling in the wilderness there will be hardly any opportunity to buy anything once you start the trip so we urge you to carefully pack everything into your bags.

All the items : Carry your stuff in a duffel bag, soft shoulder bag or a rucksack. Avoid suitcases, trolleys or any other hard luggage. As you will be walking long distances carrying a rucksack, avoid bringing unnecessary items on the trip. Please avoid carrying expensive watches, jewellery and electronic items on the trip.
Also please note this is a comprehensive list & there might be few items which you might not need depending upon the month of travel. Kindly check with us on the final list with us before travelling.

Medical Facilities : First aid would be available throughout the programme. All emergences would be treated by the nearest available doctor/medical facility.

We believe that roughing it out necessarily doesn’t mean sleeping in smelly sleeping bags, compromising on safety by using low quality equipment and having unappetising meals. We focus on your safety, basic comforts and the environment while camping. Keeping this is mind, the following equipment is provided on the trek:

Professional Guide(s) to ensure high safety and more information and personal attention which are necessary to appreciate a trek. All our guides are professionally trained and have many years of relevant experience in guiding treks.

Transport  will be provided as per the Itinerary. We provide transfers to get you to the starting point and back as comfortably and in as less time as possible for you to enjoy the trip. Your transport costs are inclusive of all fuel charges, driver charges, state taxes, tolls and permits and are planned as per the itinerary of the trip.

All Adventure Activities as mentioned in the itinerary would be supported by our experienced team of Instructors using State-of-the-art equipment. This ensures safety for any activity and is the lynchpin of the trip.

An Experienced Trip Leader would accompany you on the trip. These leaders have many years of experience in leading family groups and are usually people with an intimate knowledge of the mountains. They are also experienced instructors on one adventure sport or the other and are sure to keep you charged with many interesting stories.

A Number of Activity Experts would be joining the team as and when required. These people are domain experts in various fields like water activities, rope sports, wildlife, birds, mountaineering, etc. and are the flavour of this trip. They bring an intimate knowledge of each aspect of the trip and go beyond just getting you to do an activity and rather give you a deep insight of the whys and whats of the activities by sharing their knowledge. Guests, especially kids, tend to become best friends with these experts and end up picking up essential life skills that aid them in moving into the outdoors.

Cancellation Policy
In the event that you need to cancel your booking due to any avoidable or unavoidable circumstances:

We must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive the request in writing.Payment for this trip will not be adjusted towards any future trip(s)

Cancellation charges will be as follows

  • Minimum: 10%
  • between 45 to 30 Days: 25%
  • between 30 to 15 Days: 50%
  • Last 15 Days: No refund

Cancellation charges will be applicable on total programme cost.

Please Note : Written cancellation will be accepted on working days (only). Any cancellation sent on a Sunday or any National Holiday(s), will be considered on the next official working day.In the event of any cancellation(s) after trip commencement, there will be no refunds and any costs incurred due to this cancellation will be borne by you. Irrespective of when a trip is booked, the above condition will hold true.

Day 1: Aut – Tirthan Valley ( 1500 m) ( Drive/ 1 hr)– around Tirthan
Day 2: Tirthan Valley ( 1500 m) – Gushaini ( 1500m) – Rolla ( 2100m) ( Trek/ 4-5 hrs)
Day 3: Rolla( 2100m ) – Bird watching hike – Tirthan Valley ( Trek/ 4- 5 hrs)
Day 4: Tirthan Valley– Manali( 2050m)( Drive/ 2-3 hrs)
Day 5: Old Manali – Solang Valley (2560m)  – Manali ( Drive/ 30 – 45 mins&Trek/ 3- 4 hrs )

Detailed Itinerary :

Day 1: Aut – TirthanValley(1500 m) (Drive 1 hr& Trek / 3 hrs )
We will meet in Aut and travel to scenic Tirthan Valley. It takes an hour to reach Tirthan Valley. After arrival, we check in to the lodge/ homestay. After relaxing, we head for a short hike to the Waterfall which is a gradual uphill climb. The trail cuts through Oak and Rhododendron forest. Behold the beautiful hills and the azure sky above you. After arrival you can spend a refreshing time here and head back to the homestay/ lodge.

Day 2:Tirthan Valley– Gushaini (1500m) – Rolla (2100m) Trek/ 4-5hrs)
Today we drive to Gushaini which will take us ten to fifteen minutes. From Gushaini, it’s an easy walk to enter the park which is at a pleasant height and surrounded by thick jungle which have mind blowing colours of the trees. We walk past Ropa village on the way which has traditional houses made of deodar (cedar) wood. We will be trekking along the Tirthan. The river has a lot of natural pools where you can sit and relax near Rolla. You get good views of the surrounding mountains which look majestic and magical.  It will take us three to four hours to reach Rolla. We will camp here amidst nature’s bounty. Overnight in tents/forest hut.

Day 3:Rolla(2100m ) – Bird Watching Hike – Tirthan Valley ( Trek/ 4- 5 hrs)
Today we head out for a shot hike in and around Rolla with an expert and spend time in bird watching amongst the beautiful natural spectrum.  Here some of the prominent birds are Woodpecker, Mag pie, Vulture,  White Capped Red Start , blue whistling thrush, Scarlet Minivet , etc. After spending time here we head back to the camp and reach the roadhead to drive back to Tirthan Valley. Overnight in homestay/ lodge.

Day 4:Tirthan– Manali (Drive/ 2-3 hrs)
After breakfast we head out for an angling & rope activities session in the beautiful Tirthan River with an expert. Today is an action packed day that will fill you with excitement and unleash your adventure side.  Here is an opportunity to spot Himalayan Trout. Post lunch, we head back to Manali and reach by late afternoon.  Check in to hotel/ guesthouse.

Day 5: Old Manali – Solang Valley– Manali( Drive/ 30 – 45 mins& Trek/ 3- 4 hrs)
Today the trek begins from the old Manali village above the Beas River. Trail takes you through ancient villages Shanag and Bhurua. This beautiful valley offers magnificent views of glaciers and snow capped mountains. From Solang valley we drive down to Manali. Overnight in guesthouse/hotel.

Day 6: Activities in and around Manali
Indulge in spine tingling activities carefully crafted especially for families. Overnight in hotel. guesthouse.

Day 7: Depart
Depart to your onward destination. Trip ends here.
 

Reporting : Participant has to report at Aut/Manali on the day first at given time. and we will drop back to Aut/Manali on the last day of the Trak.  

Food : Wholesome & Hygienic vegetarian Food will be served, including Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Special Jain / Swaminarayan food is also served at the campsite if mentioned in the application form.

Toilet & Bathing facilities : There will be toilet tents [separate for gents and ladies] having portable toilet seats.

Please Note :

  • If due to bad weather, sickness, natural calamity or any other personal reasons, the itinerary is changed on ground the extra charges arising due to it will be borne by the guests. Same will be applicable if a guest decides to change the itinerary due to personal reason. Also if days are cut short on the trek/trips for any of the above reasons Anala Outdoors will not be liable to make hotel arrangements at the base or any other location for the guests
  • Guest will be required to fill up an indemnity form before embarking on the trek/trip
  • We request you to kindly disclose/share information if suffering from any major ailment. We request you to submit your health Certificate.
  • On our fixed group departures please note that we will follow a fixed schedule & standardised services. In case of individual requirements other than what is offered as part of the package, we might not be able to entertain them so please be aware of this fact
  • In case of trips/treks with a backup day, where this backup day is not utilised for whatever reasons Anala Outdoorswill not be liable to make hotel or any other arrangements
  • In case a departure cancelled due to bad weather conditions guest will receive full refund.
  1. For a family of 3 or 4 members,  1 extra bed will be provided in the same room
  2. Children have to be below 17 years of age. In case of a family of 2 children, 1 of them has  to be below 12 years.
  3. In case a family wants to take an extra room for the children extra charges will be Applicable.
  4. For fixed departure trips transport will be provided in Tempo Travellers or mini coaches, all good quality. For customised trips transport is provided in Swift Dzire or similar    vehicles for family of 3 and for family of 4 in Xylo/Innova. If required one can ask for an upgraded vehicle at an extra price.
  5. Trip leader will travel in the same vehicle with the family.
  6. One can decide not to take part in a particular activity and depending upon availability replace it with some other activity.
  7. Options for trip extensions can be provided for interested people
  8. All fixed departures are confirmed and will run even if there is one family. In this case, we will use smaller vehicle
  9. We run only small group departures with a maximum of 6 families on any one trip.

Transport Options (DELHI – MANALI/AUT – DELHI)

Aut is located 70kms before Manali on Chandigarh - Manali highway. For travel from Delhi to Manali& back, one can choose between air, rail & road. For air travel, the closest airport   is Bhuntar (Kullu) airport. There are a couple of flights that link this airport to Delhi airport.

Train travel though not very popular is available to cover a certain distance. One can either take a train to Pathankot or Jogindernagar (narrow gauge). From both these places one will need to drive to Manali. For train details, you could log on towww.indianrail.gov.in and for online railway ticket bookings you could log on to www.irctc.co.in .

There are frequent Public Transport buses including Volvos available from Delhi to Manali that cost about Rs. 1300 per person. They take about 15 hrs to cover the distance. A private vehicle could also be arranged for if you require the same.

●    Cheque/Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of ‘ANALA OUTDOORS PVT. LTD.’

●    Outstation cheques shall not be accepted.

●    Payment against dishonoured cheque/s shall have to be paid in cash with additional charge of Rs.200/- per cheque.

●    The balance payment is to be paid atleast 30 days before the departure of the batch. If the balance payment is not made on time, it would automatically be considered cancelled without any prior intimation and no refund would be given in this regard.

●    Camp may be cancelled if there is not enough strength, actual amount paid by the participant towards the camp will be refunded by A/c payee cheque only. No other claims will be entertained.

●    No refund shall be given if the participant terminates the camp at any point due to any reason.

●    Anala outdoors reserves the unconditional right to refuse a booking/terminate a participant on camp in event of unreasonable behavior at any time and no refund will be given in this regard.

●    The amount paid once is not-transferable to any other programme or to any other person.

●    Jain food may be served on specific request, subject to availability.

●    In case the camp duration is extended due to unforeseen circumstances, each participant will have to pay Rs. 400/-per head, per day to the group leader.

●    It shall be the participant's responsibility to collect the necessary travel documents from our office on time.

●    The organisers or any individual connected with the camp shall not be held responsible in case of any accident or any unforeseen natural calamity.

●    In any case of injury or severe illness where upon the participant has to be admitted to the hospital or sent back by flight or any other means of transport, then those charges shall be entirely borne by the participant .

●    Organisers will not be responsible towards any internal disputes arising with fellow participants.

●    We are not bound to provide name address or any other personal details of other participants.
 
●    The organisers shall not be held responsible for loss/theft of the participant’s luggage and belongings.
 
●    Anala Outdoors has the right to use the participant's name, information and photographs in promotional materials, brochures and press releases.
